“Faces of Russian Resistance” opens in Erfurt!

From August 21 to September 17, the exhibition will be held at the https://stiftung-ettersberg.de/was-wir-machen/veranstaltungen/ at Andreasstraße 37a.

The official opening will take place on August 21 at 6:00 p.m.

Guests will hear from literary scholar Eckhard Maass, who will talk about poet and songwriter Bulat Okudzhava, and Belarusian human rights activist Ina Rumyantseva, who will share her views on the current situation in her country.

The organizers and partners emphasize that the aim of the exhibition is to show the fates of people who resist dictatorship and propaganda, as well as to preserve the memory of political resistance in Russia.

The event's partner is the Ettersberg Foundation (Foundation for the Study of European Dictatorships), which collects and promotes research on dictatorships in Europe. The foundation presents the results of its research in an accessible form and disseminates them to the public through various educational programs.
