Two exhibitions in support of Russian political prisoners have opened in Tokyo
The exhibitions ‘Faces of Russian Resistance’ and ‘Portraits of Hope’ have opened at the Sumida Park Riverside Gallery on the banks of the Sumida River in the Japanese capital. They feature photographs and portraits of Russian political prisoners alongside their stories.
Among them are the stories of RusNews journalist Maria Ponomarenko, lawyer Alexei Liptser*, activist Mikhail Krieger*, lawyer Maria Bontsler, St. Petersburg searcher Oleg Belousov*, shaman Alexander Gabyshev, physicist Dmitry Bogmut and other Russian political prisoners.
The exhibition is open until 26 November 2025 at the Sumida Park Riverside Gallery. The gallery is open daily from 9:00 to 17:00 local time.
